Laboratory

The Laboratory at Sri Devi Diagnostic is fully equipped with the state of the art equipments in areas of Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, immunoassay and pathology. The ECS 2000, Electrolytes Analyzer, ELISA Micro plate Reader, Clinitek Urine Chemistry Analyser, Blood Gas Analyzer and other advanced equipments are used in the Laboratory.

X - Rays

All routine X - Rays and procedures like IVP, Barium and done with 500 MA machine. Portable / Bedside X - Ray facilities are also available which can be used in cases where the patient need not be shifted.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound study of Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Thyroid Gland are done. Doppler studies are done with Toshiba core vision machine by experienced radiologists.

Mammography

This is the special X - Ray investigation to outline soft tissues of breast. This helps early detections of breast Cancer and other breast lumps.

Endoscopy

Endoscopy of the Gastro intestinal tract both upper and lower are done with precise interpretation by an expert endoscopic team. This is very useful for investigation of heart burn, abnormal pain suspected cancer and ulcer disease. These tests are done by using OLYMPUS video endoscope and OLYMPUS video Colonoscope.

ECG & Echocardiology

ECG and Echocardiography : The equipments available at our diagnostic centre are of the latest digital imaging type of Toshiba make. The major advantage is the data can be retrieved by the consultant through the internet and the opinion can be given. This system saves crucial time in emergencies.

Treadmill

Motorized treadmill with multi channel computerized ECG leads, variable speed and inclination systems are available. This can be connected to PC and the data can be interpreted by the cardiologist through the net. .

EEG

It is the one of the most advanced Digital EEG machine. It is fully computerized for brain mapping facilities. It is compatible with PC / Laptop through which data can be conveyed to the neurologist through the net for his opinion. This very accurate and saves time. .

Spiral CT

The CT scan is computerized non invasive modality. It has a wide range of usage from detecting brain tumour to strokes. It is also very useful to detect abnormalities in any part of the body at the earliest. GE Spiral CT scanner has very high resolution of the images. Spiral CT scan plays an important role in Orthopedics and neurology as CT is the best modality to detect bony lesions/ fractures, intra / extra axial bleed or tumours. .
